Father And Son
Rebecca Frantz, Henry's daughter, stated that the remains belonged to her brother, Henry Colon Frantz. Reportedly, he was 28 years old when he went missing. "He left home one day, and he apparently came back," Rebecca said, as per Decaturish.
The DeKalb Medical Examiner is currently investigating the skeletal remains. According to Rebecca, authorities do not believe foul play was involved in either death.
"We are working on confirmation of his identification at this time," Jess Dillard, with the DeKalb Medical Examiner, said. "We are pretty certain we have his identity, just waiting on dental or DNA. The remains were skeletonized. No obvious signs of injury or trauma." At the same time, Dillard stated that a missing person report for Henry Colon Frantz could not be located.
Rebecca Frantz spoke highly of her father, saying that he would probably have preferred to pass while doing something fun instead of at a hospital. "That would have not suited Henry Frantz," Rebecca said.
Henry Frantz, founding member of the Atlanta Pipe Band, an attorney and father-of-five, as per Decaturish, was recognized by his loved ones. Specifically, the Altanta Pipe
posted a tribute to Henry Frantz on Facebook."His dedication, kindness, and high standards inspired generations of pipers," the pipe band posted. "Beyond music, Henry's curiosity led him to travel the world, explore fossils, and pursue scuba diving. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten."
