Bob's Burgers voice actor Eugene Mirman has tragically suffered serious injuries after crashing his car into a toll plaza in New Hampshire. As reported by the New York Post, the crash happened just before noon on Tuesday, March 31.
And, fortunately for him, the Bob's Burgers voice actor was in the presence of the governor of New Hampshire. State troopers assigned to protect Governor Kelly Ayotte came across the crash soon after it happened. State Police Colonel Mark Hall explained that they helped to pull Mirman from the wreckage.
New Hampshire Police have explained a northbound electric vehicle struck the Bedford Toll Plaza. The car tragically caught on fire. The Bob's Burgers voice actor's agent, Jay Glassner, confirmed the tragic incident on Wednesday, April 1.
"Eugene was in a very scary car accident. He wants to thank the bystanders, state police, first responders and hospital staff who saved him. He is grateful to be on the mend. At this time, we kindly ask for privacy for Eugene and his family as he focuses on recovering from his injuries", the statement read.
Furthermore, Governor Ayotte said she was praying for the recovery of the driver. In a statement, she wrote "I want to thank the Trooper on my security detail and the bystanders who stepped up to help at the scene of the crash for their brave lifesaving efforts." Ayotte also personally stepped up to help, leaving her vehicle and getting a fire extinguisher.
