Nashville's Rooftop Igloo Bar is Here in Time for the Holiday Season

The holiday season is right around the corner and bars all over the country are getting ready. The temperatures are cooling down, which means you'll get to drink seasonal cocktails (some of which are warm and toasty!) and look forward to the best time of year. We've got the perfect spot for you to visit if you find yourself in Tennessee in December.

One downtown Nashville hotel is bringing back their rooftop lounge, where you'll get to sit back and enjoy spiked hot chocolate and cocktails inside of a heated igloo — the winter version of the cabana. The Bobby Hotel Nashville's rooftop will get you in the holiday spirit. The rooftop igloos set alongside the outdoor pool and 1956 retrofitted Greyhound bus (that also has seating year round).

You can actually eat inside the igloos on Fridays and Saturdays. Who needs room service or a mini bar when this rooftop bar/lounge exists? The boutique hotel takes reservations if desired, but those aren't mandatory. (The igloos are on a first come-first serve basis and come with a food and beverage minimum. If that's not your jam, grab some food at the hotel's Tavern restaurant before coming up for drinks and a killer view of downtown.)

After visiting the festive rooftop, be sure to stop in downstairs at Bobby's Garage Bar. With an entryway from Printers Alley, Bobby's is a great location downtown — especially for first time visitors to the city.

The igloos returned to the Bobby Hotel's rooftop the winter on Fri., Nov. 13, 2020. Seating for up to five is available on Friday and Saturday nights from 5-11 p.m.

The Bobby Hotel is located in downtown Nashville at 230 4th Avenue North.
