Blake Shelton has vehemently denied reports of a rift between himself and wife Gwen Stefani. His comments came while co-hosting "Country Countdown USA" on Saturday, January 10.

"I started noticing these articles popping up about 'Blake and Gwen, they're split up," Blake said. "They're not even seeing each other anymore; they're going through a divorce.' And then, a week later, a picture comes out of us walking out of the grocery store ... 'Oh, they're back together again!'"
Unfortunately for Blake, and of course, for Gwen too, the rumors persisted and became rather difficult to ignore.
"Another week goes by and we're not seen at the grocery store ... 'They're divorcing.' I see pictures of Gwen and I on social media that I really go, 'That looks so real.' But I know I don't even own that shirt or, 'Whose car is that?'"
It's also important to remember that the last time a video surfaced of Blake and Gwen together was on New Year's Eve. The couple shared a passionate kiss during the video, which, for some reason, appeared to be overlooked.
"I don't believe anything anymore that I see on the internet," Blake continued. "I mean, nothing. I just don't believe it."
No Truth to Rumors of Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani's Split
According to a source close to both Blake and Gwen, who was speaking with PEOPLE, the rumors of a split are far off the mark.
"There is no truth to the split rumors. They've just been juggling demanding schedules," the source said. "When they are together, it's just so obvious how solid they are."
The source then continued to explain that the couple spends as much time together as their schedules allow.
"Sometimes they spend a lot of family time together and really treasure that, and then there are periods when the focus is more on work," the source says. "They're both at a place in their careers where they still genuinely enjoy what they do and they don't want to give that up. Is it easy all the time? Of course not. They have a lot on their plates and a lot to balance, but that's just how it is when you're a family and both parents have careers."
Maybe now that Blake has moved to put those rumors to bed, the couple can focus on living their lives and working on their careers. It can't be nice seeing fake rumors regarding your marriage circulating in the tabloids. And for that, both Blake and Gwen deserve some kudos for handling the whole situation with professionalism and grace.
