Nashville, Tennessee's Music Row was packed with excited Blake Shelton fans who camped out for hours ahead of the musician's free concert on Sept. 24.
The rare outdoor concert was a part of Warner Music Nashville's Pickin' on the Patio series, which provides free performances from some of the label's biggest stars during the summer months each year.
Shelton provided his trademark humorous banter throughout the 12-song set and even gave out some dating advice to those "absolute redneck Tennessee dudes" in the audience. The 39-year-old advised the males in the crowd to use a trick which he admitted he "had used before."
So what's Shelton's secret to winning over a woman's heart? Simply singing the heartfelt lyrics of his 2011 ballad, "Who Are You When I'm Not Looking". Although Shelton probably has an advantage on all of us singing-wise, it's the thought that counts, right?
