Blake Shelton Announces Upcoming Album 'Texoma Shore'

Following the recent release of a live EP, Blake Shelton is keeping the momentum going with an album announcement. On Nov. 3, he'll drop his eleventh studio album, entitled Texoma Shore.

He announced the news of his latest project earlier today (Sept. 21) on Instagram along with the album's cover art.

Lake Texoma finds itself at the border of Oklahoma and Texas, hence its name. It's only about an hour's drive out from Blake's current home in Tishomingo, Okla. Furthermore, it's about the same distance away from his hometown of Ada, Okla. So, one can assess that the pop-country star is keeping things personal on his latest.

Earlier this month, Blake released Texoma's Shore first single, "I'll Name the Dogs." In the accompanying music video, there were hints of wedding bells that got fans talking. Furthermore, his sweetheart Gwen Stefani recently teased a holiday duet of hers and Blake's. "You'll Feel Like Christmas" will officially drop with Stefani's upcoming Christmas album, due out later this year.

These are the first new tunes from Blake since 2016's If I'm Honest. Thankfully, these glimpses go against the grain of recent reports that he planned to drop out of the music industry. Shelton will also be appearing on the latest season of The Voice this Monday (Sept. 25), further disputing these claims.

No further details on Texoma Shore have been made available at this time. With that said, preorders for the album open tomorrow (Sept. 22).

Blake Shelton recently co-hosted the Hand in Hand telethon alongside George Strait. The Harvey relief benefit was a resounding success, drawing in over $44 million.
