Watch as Blake Shelton gets frustrated with Jimmy Fallon's lip reading antics.
Last month on the Tonight Show, Jimmy Fallon invited guest Blake Shelton to play the Whisper Challenge. The game is simple: put on noise-cancelling headphones and try to lip-read what the other player says as he reads a phrase on a card.
Shelton, who is typically the jokester, was a bit of a curmudgeon. "These are the dumbest phrases ever!" Why was Shelton being a stick in the mud? Fallon was having some fun at his expense prior to the game.
When talking about Shelton's number 1 hit "Neon Lights", the Tonight Show host sang Brooks & Dunn's classic of the same name instead. And, when Shelton said he'd be performing his hit "Boys Round Here" on Saturday Night Live, Fallon teased him by singing a mock version of "Luckenbach, Texas", adding a line about sausage parties - yes, that kind of sausage party.
Lighten up, Blake! It's all in good fun!
