Blake Shelton Performs 'Austin' and 'Minimum Wage' on 2021 ACM Awards

Blake Shelton took the stage at the 2021 ACM Awards to perform his first No. 1 hit "Austin" and current single "Minimum Wage."

See Shelton's performance below.

"Austin" celebrates its 20 year anniversary this year.

Shelton told CMT his label originally wanted another song to be his debut single, but after seeing the response "Austin" received from the women in his life, Shelton stood his ground.

"Every one of them said the same thing: that they shed tears when they heard 'Austin'," Shelton said (as quoted by CMT). "So then I called the A&R person at the label and said, 'We need to have another meeting.' And she told me they'd already decided on a single. I told her, 'There's new information and we need to have a meeting.' I was determined to convince them to change from 'All Over to Me' to 'Austin.'"
