Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani have a bit of friendly competition on the horizon. Blake recently added another six dates to his Las Vegas residency show at Caesars Palace. However, some of those dates directly coincide with Gwen's upcoming residency at the Sphere with "No Doubt."

"That'll be interesting because I'll be in direct competition with my wife," Blake told PEOPLE. "I'm excited about that because I know there'll be probably a little bit of trash talking...Whether we both sell out, there's a big difference in selling out the Sphere and selling out Caesars, so she'll have that over my head."
It's hard to gauge who has the bigger following these days. If you'd asked the question during the early 2000s, Gwen would have won by a landslide. Odds are, that's still the case, and it sounds like Blake is expecting his wife to hold bragging rights over breakfast in the coming months.
"Yeah, it's not very friendly when it's absolute ass-kicking," Blake joked.
Nevertheless, if you're a fan of both Blake and Gwen, and you happen to be passing through Las Vegas, now would be the perfect time to see both in concert. At least then you can make your own mind up about who the winner actually is.
Blake Shelton Recently Rubbished Rumors of a Rift With Gwen Stefani
When co-hosting "Country Countdown USA" on Saturday, January 10, Blake used the airtime to crush any rumors of a rift or split with Gwen.
"I started noticing these articles popping up about 'Blake and Gwen, they're split up," Blake said. "They're not even seeing each other anymore; they're going through a divorce.' And then, a week later, a picture comes out of us walking out of the grocery store ... 'Oh, they're back together again!'"
Blake then continued by hinting that AI has been part of the problem due to its image generation capabilities.
"Another week goes by and we're not seen at the grocery store ... 'They're divorcing.' I see pictures of Gwen and I on social media that I really go, 'That looks so real.' But I know I don't even own that shirt or, 'Whose car is that?'"
Fortunately, it would appear that Blake and Gwen are stronger than ever. You may want to check back once one of them has won their residency battle, though.
