A tourist suffered a terrifying attack after an angry bison charged at him in a Polish forest.

The incident occurred in Poland's Bialowieza Forest last Monday after the man reportedly came within around 20 feet of the animal.
The bison knocked the tourist to the ground and repeatedly prevented him from getting back to his feet.
Dramatic footage captured the animal striking and shoving the man back down each time he attempted to stand.
Another Bison Attack Caught on Camera in Polish Forest
Nature photographer Grzegorz Rynski captured the frightening encounter and immediately shouted at the tourist to remain still.
Rynski then used his car to create a barrier between the man and the bison, helping him escape from the dangerous situation.
The quick-thinking photographer reportedly drove slowly toward the animal while keeping a car door open, giving the tourist an opportunity to climb inside.
However, the frightened man instead attempted to escape on foot.
Rynski continued slowly reversing his vehicle alongside the tourist, keeping the car between him and the bison until they had created enough distance from the animal.
"We shouldn't blame the bison. The man was actually very lucky because this particular animal was quite calm. There are much more aggressive individuals," Rynski said following the incident.
Rynski's wife, Aneta, also witnessed the attack and said the tourist suffered a deep wound to his calf as well as significant bruising.
He required hospital treatment for his injuries following the encounter.
Visitors Warned About Dangers of Wild Bison
Aneta said that "a bison is a wild animal. If a person gets too close, the animal may feel threatened and attack."
Bialowieza Forest sits along Poland's border with Belarus and is home to around 1,176 free-ranging European bison.
The frightening encounter comes nearly a month after a bison launched Carl Isom-McDaniel, 65, several feet into the air at Yellowstone National Park.
Footage of that attack also went viral, with Isom-McDaniel suffering four fractures to his femur and requiring surgery.
The incident occurred at Bridge Bay Campground, south of Fishing Bridge, while Isom-McDaniel visited Yellowstone with his 13-year-old grandson.
As the pair took photographs from a distance, the bison became increasingly agitated before suddenly charging toward them.
They attempted to escape toward a nearby wooded area, but the animal charged through the vegetation and caught up with Isom-McDaniel, launching him into the air.
The grandfather later confirmed that he was in stable condition and expected to recover from his injuries.
