Billy Ray Cyrus has wed Firerose after a ceremony they call, "the most perfect ethereal celebration of love."
The two country singers exchanged vows on Tuesday, October 10, and took to Instagram to share the news and the gorgeous photos from the event captured by Lisa Rhea Photography.
"10/10/23 will always be the beautiful, joyous day that our two souls united as one in holy matrimony," the couple wrote on Instagram. "It was the most perfect, ethereal celebration of love we could have ever imagined.
For both of us to hear the preacher say, 'Billy Ray and Firerose Cyrus... I now pronounce you husband and wife,' that was the sacred moment our new forever began. Long Live Love!"
The couple looks positively angelic in the photos. The sun casts a halo of light above Billy Ray's long brown hair streaked with blonde. One user commented: "My four-year-old son just said, 'Is that Jesus?'" He donned a Versace suit by John Varvatos for his special day..
The milk-white of Firerose's elegant gown, designed by Laura Rudovic, spills over a grassy hill that overlooks a golden horizon. She holds a very on-brand bouquet of fiery red roses, courtesy of Nashville-based floral designer and wedding planner Kelsey Gray.
The couple wasted no time in making their way to the altar. Rumors about their engagement started circulating just a few months ago when Firerose was seen wearing a ring on her left ring finger. In November, the country singer officially confirmed their engagement.
Cyrus first crossed paths with the Australian singer 12 years ago while working on the set of the Disney series which co-starred his daughter Miley, Hannah Montana. They stayed in touch after the show, and their first public outing together was in 2021. According to Cyrus, their romantic relationship didn't begin until after his divorce from Tish Cyrus, whom he had been married to for 28 years.
