NBC's The Voice season 19 is in full swing and it's always exciting to see who ends up joining Team Blake. Last night, country singer Ben Allen earned himself a three chair turn in response to his blind audition song. It seems that his cover of "Red Dirt Road" by Brooks & Dunn was a perfect choice because it only took Blake Shelton 7 seconds to realize he had something special.

John Legend and Gwen Stefani also turned their chairs with hopes of getting Ben on their teams. Legend gushed about his incredible tone and Stefani claimed she's "kind of country now" but for a country artist, it's a no-brainer to get tutelage from the one and only Blake Shelton. Though Kelly Clarkson didn't turn for the hopeful contestant, she admitted that he will most likely go far, potentially all the way to the finale.

"I miss a good ole fashioned nasally sounding country singer," Shelton told Ben and even compared him to the Nashville great he was covering, Ronnie Dunn. He gave an incredibly touching pitch to Ben saying he wanted to pass along some of his country music expertise onto him and even said it's the entire reason he loves being a coach on The Voice

Ben Allen, who regularly performs around his home in Southwest Florida, didn't even start singing until he was 30 years old. Now 42 years old, he first got a taste for performing at a bowling alley's open mic night. Country music fans were gushing about Ben Allen on social media which must have been exciting for his friends and family to see. Since he really wowed during The Voice blind auditions, we're excited to see where he goes on the show. Hopefully, Blake can help get this guy out to Tennessee and onto country radio!
