A beloved rock frontman has tragically passed away. Cult of Youth confirmed that frontman Sean Ragon has died. He was 45.

The band announced Ragon's death on their
Facebook page. They did not reveal a cause of death. Ragon has been a frontman for the Cult of Youth for years. He first began playing in the 1990s before going on to found the goth and punk band. He leaves behind a lasting legacy in music.The band released their first album in 2011. Their last music came back in 2022.
"It is with a heavy heart that I say, Sean Ragon has left this mortal coil," the post read. "Thank you to all of you for the support over the years. Love will prevail."
Rock Frontman Dies
Following the death of the rock frontman, several musicians paid tribute to him and his legacy in the genre.
"Sean Ragon has died," musician Carmen Burguess wrote on Facebook. "Sean released the first record of my life. He drove us across the US on tour himself, and we nearly died on the road together. We played a thousand places together. He was the most sophisticated record collector. And the most extreme music lover I ever met. He loved Mueran Humanos like nobody did or ever will. He saw us on so many stages, and I always envied a little being on his side of that. Thank you, Sean. I'm so sorry I won't see you again. I'm glad you left children in this world. A huge hug to them and to his whole family."
"RIP to my brother Sean Ragon; musical and artistic force, true character, funny ass mofo, deep head and a personality of only the most sincere intents/intense..." musician Adam Otracina wrote on Facebook.
"I didn't know you nearly as well as many other who claim you as a friend and bandmate," he added. "But I'm forever grateful that our sonic orbits intertwined as they did!"
