Another beloved Disney star has passed away at a young age. Zombies star Carla Jefferey has died at the age of 33.

Jefferey's agency, Alexanders Talent Management released a statement on Wednesday (September 2) confirming the star's passing.

In their heartfelt tribute to Carla, they remembered her presence as the "vibrant" young actress who captivated audiences for years.
"Our hearts are broken as we mourn the loss of our beloved Carla Jeffery. For more than 20 years, Carla was part of the Alexanders Talent Management family, and watching her grow from a talented young girl into the beautiful, vibrant woman and actress she became was an incredible privilege," said the agency in a statement obtained by Variety. "We will remember her infectious smile, her laughter, her talent, and the beautiful light she carried everywhere she went."
Jefferey was much more than an actress. She was a major part of several people's childhood upbringing as the role of Bree in the Zombies franchise.
When the news of her passing went public, several of the actress's fans paid homage to her on social media.

she's seriously going to be missed. BEAUTIFUL energy and you could see her light shine through on that show," one user wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
"I still have that movie on repeat for the kids.. such a tragedy at such a young age," a second user added.

Bri was a part of our childhood loved the Zombies franchise," a third user chimed in.
Although she was known as Bree in the hit Disney series, Jeffrey's film credit's extended far beyond that role. She also appeared in the 2020 film, Puzzled in the role of Carmen. The television series American Vandal as Sierra Sherrington, and the TV series Southland in the role of Janila.
No cause of death has been revealed for Jefferey at this time. May she rest in peace.
