Beach Boys frontman Mike Love has made headlines for his near-motionless, fatigued performances during the band's current tour.

Love, 85, is battling serious health complications and was advised by doctors and bandmates to pause his on-stage career.
Beach Boys member John Stamos recently said that Love, fueled by passion, has been adamant that he wants to continue touring.
However, Beach Boys founder Al Jardine isn't sure that's the right decision, and called Love's recent performances "depressing."
Speaking with Rolling Stone, Jardine said he saw clips of Love's Nashville performance and became concerned.
"It's shocking and I was really depressed," he said. "I had to really shake myself out of it just to get on stage. Just the optics of it were just awful and I'm speechless."
Beach Boys Founder Stunned by Vocalist's Condition
Jardine said he hopes Love does not perform much more in this condition.
"That's just not right, that I can see. Obviously, he's a total pro. He wants to be on stage, but he just doesn't know how not to do it," he said. "He doesn't know what else to do. So I think he's trapped."
Before the band's Nashville performance, in which Love looked visibly sluggish, John Stamos shed light on iconic vocalist's health issues.
"I'm boarding a plane to Nashville to play with the Beach Boys at the Ryman Auditorium, struggling to put my feelings into words," Stamos wrote on Instagram Sunday alongside a pair of photos of him with the Beach Boys frontman.
"My beloved friend, father figure, musical hero and mentor, Mike Love, is facing serious health challenges," he added.
"We hope he'll be doing what he loves for years to come, but we don't know what the future holds. We have tonight."
Love has not revealed what ailments he is dealing with, but Stamos said that he finds healing in touring.
"Mike is a fighter. Despite doctors, family and friends urging him to focus on his health, he insists on being on stage. He says he needs his band, the audience, his friends and drummer surrounding him to lift him up."
