It's time for Barry Manilow to play his final curtains as he announces his farewell tour dates. But, wait, hasn't he already done this multiple times before?

The 81-year-old singer has graced our ears for six decades and has been a household name for most of them. He professes his undying love for the stage and has admitted that it keeps him young. "I think by keeping working, you stay young, or at least you stay vibrant, and your brain is always working. And that's me — I've always got something going on," he told People.
But he's finally had enough, and it's time to hang up the shiny suit jacket and play his final concert dates. He is planning to play a string of farewell performances across the US, paying homage to some of his favorite locations.
Beginning July 11, Barry Manilow will play eight farewell tour locations. You can catch him at:
- July 11 - Spokane, WA - Spokane Arena
- July 12 - Seattle, WA - Climate Pledge Arena
- July 14 - West Valley City, UT - Maverik Center
- July 15 - Boise, ID - ExtraMile Arena
- July 16 - Portland, OR - Moda Centre
- July 18 - Oakland, CA - Oakland Arena
- July 19 - Sacramento, CA - Golden 1 Center
- July 20 - San Jose, CA - SAP Center
The Final Farewell Tour For Barry Manilow, Maybe
This isn't the first time Barry Manilow has promised that this is his real farewell tour. But I think he takes a year or so off and just gets the itch again. He has admitted how much he loves to perform. "You would think I'd be bored with this stuff," he told People. "And I'm not, because the audiences just love these songs, and I'm so grateful for it."
It's like a drug to perform for his adoring crowds with songs he loves to play. But, eventually, it's time to call it a day and give his voice and body a rest. Anyone else would have retired years ago. So, this may just be the actual farewell tour for Barry Manilow.
Prior to his farewell tour, it's still possible to catch Barry Manilow playing at this Las Vegas residency. He will be playing at the Westgate Resort & Casino's International Theater until he decides to embark on his last goodbye.
