Here's something we don't see every day. An incredible photo of San Antonio at night has just been sent all the way down from outer space.
Italian astronaut Ignazio Magnani is currently aboard the International Space Station. During his time in orbit, Magnani has been taking photos using the NASA High Definition Earth Viewing System (or HDEV) camera on board. Earlier this week, he shared a photo of Ol' San Antonio at night from above.

Magnani takes a variety of pictures of cities across the globe, from the Philippines to New Zealand. Needless to say, the photo is stunning. The lights intertwine to show the central network of San Antonio, with the downtown area glowing brightest.
This is the second time we've seen a stunning photo San Antonio sent from the International Space Station. Back in March 2015, Italian astronaut Samantha Cristofoertti posted an image of the Texas city from above.

It's hard to determine when the next photo of Texas from above will be taken. But in the meantime, at least we have Magnani's beautiful night time snapshot to hold us over. The photo just goes to show that San Antonio really is one of the most beautiful cities in Texas.
