Everyone has a big dream. Whether it's to be one of the greats in a hobby they're passionate about, or just to be happy, it's something you'll be proud to do everyday.
Now, imagine that being ripped away from you - but it's no fault of your own. Well, that's what happened to 34-year-old Oli Coppock. He was diagnosed with a gut-wrenching brain condition which has left him non-verbal and paralyzed.
As reported by the New York Post, his symptoms started small - dizziness, and a severe headache. The England native went to Warrington Hospital with his symptoms, hoping he'd get treated.
He was so convinced something was wrong with him that he even brought a bag with essentials, expecting to stay the night. But the doctor missed the symptoms as being possibly severe.
Rather than looking at his file, which said he had recent brain surgery and radiotherapy, he just ordered a CT scan. Following this, the doctor said the aspiring DJ simply had a virus. He was sent home, and told to just take painkiller medication until the pain went away.
But the pain didn't go away - and the symptoms just got worse. He ended up having a cardiac arrest due to fluid on the brain. He ended up being left with "inoperable brain stem damage".

The Aspiring DJ's Family Has Spoken Out
Following the tragic breakdown in the condition of the DJ, the hospital reviewed their procedures and found that they were wrong.
"Warrington should hold their heads in shame," Stephen, Coppock's father, said. "As far as I am concerned, the health service that he trusted to protected him has destroyed my boy by failing to do the basics, and his life was ruined at 32; now he is a shell of his former self."
"They robbed him of his life," he continued. "Every day is like a lifetime for him, as his mind is still completely active and he knows exactly what is going on, but his body can't respond."
"His life plans have been obliterated and he is living a permanent nightmare. There is no space worse in the world for a human to occupy."
"I can only describe it as my son living in hell, just like that 'Scream' painting by Munch. His only form of communication over the last few years has been two plastic yes and no cards. It's devastating to see as a dad."
