There's an arrest warrant out for San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk, per PEOPLE. The Santa Clara County District Attorney's Office issued the warrant after a video of the 49ers' star speeding at over 100 mph was posted to social media. Shockingly, Aiyuk was the one who posted the video to YouTube in December.

According to The San Francisco Standard, Aiyuk was driving in a 40 mph zone when the video was filmed.
"Santa Clara County court records show there have been three other traffic violations previously filed against Aiyuk dating back to February 2021. Two of the cases are still pending," PEOPLE reports.
Shortly after Aiyuk posted the video to YouTube, he released a statement apologizing for his actions.
"Sorry ya'll, my car content won't come with speeding anymore," Aiyuk posted on social media. "Was praying with my son tonight and wouldn't want anybody else to miss out on an opportunity to do the same with their loved ones! My apologies."
Nevertheless, the video is likely at the center of the current warrant for his arrest. There is no further information regarding the situation at this time. However, we will undoubtedly learn more as everything unfolds.
The San Francisco 49ERS Are Open To Trading Brandon Aiyuk
According to San Francisco 49ers general manager John Lynch, the team is open to trading Aiyuk during the current offseason.
"We're available," Lynch said, per ESPN. "Give us a call. I think it's the prudent thing to do. He's an extremely talented player. He's been an extremely effective player in our league. The situation didn't work itself out here. That's not to say it can't be rekindled somewhere else. And we'd be happy to do something with anyone if the opportunity presented itself."
Aiyuk has suited up for 69 NFL regular-season games during his five-year career so far. He's registered 294 receptions for 4,305 yards. The talented wide receiver has logged 25 career touchdowns during the regular season, too.
Furthermore, Aiyuk has nine games worth of postseason experience, with a total of 24 receptions, 393 yards and a touchdown. It will be interesting to see if any team around the league looks to take a flyer on him, especially now that he finds himself in a bit of legal trouble.
