Big hats, the winning garland of 554 roses, and mint juleps are Kentucky Derby traditions we look forward to every year come the first Saturday of May. This year, we're mixing up our classic mint juleps and starting a new Kentucky Derby tradition with Angry Orchard's Rosé Cider Julep.
The official hard cider of the 144th Kentucky Derby, with its delicate floral aroma and bright apple flavor it's not hard to see why the new rosé is the Derby drink of choice. What makes this Angry Orchard cider so special beyond its rosy blush flavor and crisp apple cider taste is its gorgeous pink hue. Made from rare red flesh apples sourced from France, this hard cider takes on a brilliant pink color that makes it worthy of the name rosé. Pair that with the flavors of the traditional Kentucky Derby beverage, the mint julep, and you have the ultimate Derby experience.
If you're hosting your own Derby bash, pick up a 6-pack of the rosy hue Angry Orchard Rosé hard cider and whip up a Rosé Cider Julep for your guests. Whether you're at home or cheering on your horse trackside, everyone is a winner Derby day with Angry Orchard Rosé.
