Woman Whispering "Help Me" To Amazon Worker Led To Arrest

Soon after, the Indian River County Sheriff's Office dispatched a deputy to the home on Friday, March 28, around 4:45 PM. The affidavit mentioned how the deputy saw the woman who "appeared in distress." He also noticed "obvious red marks on her neck."
When the deputy arrived, the woman was sitting on the front porch with 43-year-old Frank Mandolini. She told the officer she accused Mandolini of using his phone and electronic devices to "talk to other women."
The woman also claimed he was watching adult material, which led to the altercation. The affidavit said the two used to be married, but they were currently still living together. During the fight, Mandolini allegedly grabbed her by the neck and began choking her on the floor. She reportedly started to "lose consciousness and almost blacked out" before Mandolini stopped choking her.
He later admitted to choking her to the deputy "but did not cause her to lose her breath." With these claims in mind, he denied the charges against him. His history says otherwise, as court records show he previously held another domestic violence charge.
The deputy decided to charge Mandolini with one count of felony battery by strangulation and placed him in jail. He currently has a $30,000 bond, and his next court date is set to occur on June 5. On top of that, the authorities ordered him to have no contact with the woman.
The outlet also found court documents showing that a child lives in their home. Police have since notified the Florida Department of Children and Families.
What are the chances that this heroic Amazon driver decided to arrive the same day that this happened? Without the driver calling 911, the police would've likely never learned of the altercation.
