Rightful Parking, an airport and cruise parking reservation company based in Tampa, Florida, analyzed 55 airports using federal flight data and Google Maps estimates.
Its analysis weighed factors such as cancellations, delays and the distance and travel times from downtown areas.
Rightful Parking's analysis determined that Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport was America's "most stressful" airport.
Anyone who has ever flown out of DFW Airport knows how complicated and complex it can be.
Plus, a toll fee is required to enter the airport, which many travelers detest.
Rightful Parking noted that the airport experiences frequent delays, which helped earn its infamous reputation as the most stressful airport.
DFW Experiences Frequent Delays and Cancellations
Nearly 28 percent of flights at DFW were delayed, while 2.76 percent were canceled, according to the analysis, which used 2025 flight data from the Bureau of Transportation Statistics.
The airport has also seen delays climb 33.67 percent since 2021.
DFW Airport recorded 390 delays and 155 cancellations on Oct. 1, the most of any airport that day, according to NJ.com.
Over on Reddit, there is an entire thread dedicated to the disdain for DFW Airport, with travelers ripping the airport's service and build.
One traveler wrote: "DFW is the WORST hands down. I fly at least twice weekly for work. I have never been through DFW without a 3 to 5 hour delay. Also, the staff is USELESS, the air traffic control is understaffed, and the airlines enjoy the lack of regulations in Texas. Texas airports are the only place I've ever seen airlines get away with double-booking gates, lying about departure times, and overbooking flights."
Another Reddit user commented on DFW's upcoming reconstruction, saying, "I travel for work and compared to Detroit, Philadelphia, Atlanta, DFW is an embarrassment. City planners are ignoring the fact that they need to clean-sheet restart the airport's design. Instead, we'll just get a refreshed version with the same tight walkways. And guys on carts yelling at you to move."
Rightful Parking deemed Chicago's O'Hare International Airport the second-most stressful airport in America.
