American Tourists Whipped After Attempting To Avoid Paying Horse Carriage Driver

If you're going to do a runner on a bill, make sure whoever you're running from isn't armed.

Two American tourists in Dublin found out the hard way that trying to avoid paying can have some pretty nasty consequences. Footage online shows the pair being whipped into a corner after trying to run from a carriage ride in the Irish capital.

The pair had allegedly taken a carriage ride through the city but refused to pay. However, they forgot that the carriage pilot had a whip and wasn't afraid to use it. He chased them down and gave them a hiding, while they cowered in a corner.

"Pay now, pay into my f****** bank account," the cab driver screams as he swings the whip. He rains down blows on them as they beg for mercy. "I have money," the fair dodger shoots back, under the barrage of blows.

Too late though. "It's 100 US, it's extra," he says. The horse carriage driver takes his fare, and continues to give the two American boys a good whipping for the trouble they caused. "F****** B********" he fires their way before leaving. "We learned our lesson, thank you," one of the boys says.

Full Support for The Horse Whip-Wielding Driver

The whip is not a lethal weapon by any means. Sure, it sounds super violent as it cracks through the air, and it'll leave a sting, but they're modern lightweight whips. It sure had the two American tourists backed up though.

The video has been shared online, by both Americans and Irish alike. On the whole, the horsewhip driver gets most people's support. If you don't pay the price, you'll pay other ways. There's no chance of running. There are plenty of back streets you'll get lost down that a local will know like the back of their hand.

"We've learned our lesson thank you" ? I'm in pieces," one commenter on X says. Their thanks are a very funny response to having a new perspective whipped into them. They certainly won't be trying to skip out on any more bills in Ireland, that's for sure.
