If you've ever been in a situation where there isn't a toilet in sight, and it's time to go, you know the panic. Your body is telling you that you have moments to spare, and there's nothing you can do to prevent it. It always happens miles away from civilization, or an available bathroom, too.
A woman has found herself in the worst-case scenario while working as an Amazon delivery driver. Out in the suburbs, during the early hours of the morning, she needed the bathroom. Of course, she couldn't knock on anyone's door. And in the suburbs, there's not going to be anywhere open to use the bathroom at that time.
So, the Amazon delivery did the only thing she could do and did her bathroom dirties on someone's front porch. Without a place to go, she pooped right there, staring into the doorbell camera as she did so. I mean, what else was she supposed to do? Go in the van?
Amazon Workers' Rights Don't Extend To Toilet Breaks
There have been many tales of woe for Amazon delivery drivers, factory employees, and the rest over the years. It has been reported multiple times that Amazon delivery drivers are forced to pee in bottles. The company has admitted to it in the past, and by the looks of it, they've done little to rectify the problem.
Now, I don't condone anyone using the bathroom on someone's property. But, before we start a witch hunt against a woman who clearly had no other choice, let's remember that the company works its Amazon delivery drivers relentlessly and rarely treats them humanely.
She didn't do what she did maliciously. She did it because she was working a delivery shift at 6 am on Mother's Day with no other option. Sure, the cleanup must have been gross, but it was equally dehumanizing for the poor woman forced into that situation just to pay her rent.
