Ally Bank is giving you a great reason to change the way you look at your money. The company has dropped 100 "lucky" pennies throughout the country that are worth $1,000 each.
You can find the pennies in 10 major cities - Austin, Charlotte, Chicago, Denver, Detroit, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, San Diego and Washington, D.C. The bank has placed ten coins in each locale's most highly trafficked areas.
Each of these pennies is just slightly larger than a regular penny, and features the bank's logo on the front and a redemption code on the back. The bank started the campaign to reteach people the value of money, specifically pennies.

For help finding these lucky pennies, hints are available on the company's social media pages and through their website. Each week, they'll also let people know how many pennies are left in each city.
