An alleged scammer who reportedly stole NFL players' life savings has been found dead in a pool. As reported by ABC 7 Eyewitness News, Mohamed Coulibaly was just 24 years old.
Coulibaly's body was found in the swimming pool of a New Jersey home on Friday, July 31. Authorities had been called to perform a welfare check in Harrison Township after family members raised concerns as to his wellbeing.
Police explained that they were looking into his death as suspicious. This is because of the serious allegations made against him from NFL stars, who he allegedly scammed. However, as of yet, there has been no movement as of yet.

He Allegedly Scammed NFL Players For $1 Million
A bombshell investigation from Barron's specifically named Coulibaly as the alleged organizer of a scam. Per the outlet, he was accused of attempting to steal money from athletes. He allegedly did this by convincing them to buy into fake web stores.
Jacob Adelman, of the outlet, explained, "The athletes and other investors would buy into these e-commerce shops that seemed to be doing really good business based on the sales logs that they were able to review."
"...but we were able to determine that those transactions were manually input by somebody with access to the backend of these stores."
"And the purpose of this was... To make these athletes think that they had these successful investments in these shops."
Three Athletes Were Allegedly Scammed
Three former NFL athletes were allegedly scammed as a part of this outlet. We know that one victim was former Giants linebacker Tae Crowder, however information has not been released as to the other two alleged victims.
Crowder recounted his experience as to what allegedly happened, and also just how much he spent. "We was just, every day, talking about different investments and different things we could possibly get into," he recalled.
"I saw him hanging out with a bunch of different guys that I know, which, you know, made me feel comfortable," he added.
He also said that the amount he was allegedly swindled equalled around half a million dollars.
