Alisan Porter has a song for every free-spirit who can't be held down. "Wild One," which is premiering exclusively on Wide Open Country today, is a soulful country-rocker that showcases Porter's soaring vocals.
"I'm a nice girl, a rare pearl/ Only one like me in the world/ I'm letting you know, I only have one home — where the wild wind blows," Porter sings "I tell it like it is 'cause it just feels right to do all the best things wrong/ Sometimes I laugh when I need to cry/ Been doin' it my whole life long/ I'm the wild one."
Porter says the song is an anthem for loving yourself completely and living free.
"'Wild One' is about embracing exactly who you are as a person, and learning to be totally okay with it," Porter tells Wide Open Country. "I want everyone listening to the song to feel unapologetically free in being exactly who they are."

"Wild One" is the latest release from Porter's forthcoming album Pink Cloud.
Porter won season 10 of The Voice as a member of Christina Aguilera's team. The singer is a former child star who starred in the 1991 film Curly Sue.
