Albino Buffalo Goes Viral and Avoids Certain Death for Resemblance to Trump

A rare albino buffalo got crazy viral recently - to the point that he avoided certain death. That's because he looks like the world's most powerful man. President Trump himself!

According to the New York Post, clips shared online showing the buffalo sporting a blond combover lead to an influx of tourists to the area in Bangladesh. The buffalo was set to be slaughtered as a part of Eid-al-Adha. This is an Islamic festival where animals are ritually slaughtered.

And the buffalo ended up being saved by none other than Bangladeshi authorities. Whether they wanted to cash in and milk his fame, or whether they wanted to protect him, is anyone's business. Either way, they cited security concerns, alongside "the unusual level of public interest" surrounding Trump.

And it seems like his dashing looks have earned him some stardom. That's because authorities have planned to move him into Bangladesh's national zoo. I'm kind of tempted to go and visit...

The Farm's Owner Recalled the Story Behind the Viral Trump Buffalo

The original owner of Trump-alo, Ziauddin Mridha, said that it was his younger brother who first saw the resemblance between the two. He had bought the cattle from a cattle market.

In an interview with The Business Standard, he explained, "My younger brother jokingly named it Donald Trump after seeing the hair on its head."

But, he said that the buffalo has been very calm. He explained, "It is very calm in nature. Albino buffaloes are generally peaceful and do not become aggressive unless provoked."

While we can't know if the buffalo is aware of its new-found position in the high life of socialites, there might be some tells. According to a farm caretaker, the buffalo has been given some pretty crazy special treatment.

It's been fed "corn, oil cake, bran, rice husk, and grass", as well as being given four baths a day. That's practically the cow equivalent of a Michelin star meal!

Practically everyone who visited the animal said the resemblance was uncanny. One visitor said, "It really does look like Trump. Its face and hair resemble him closely", with another explaining that "the name suits it well."
