Alan Jackson keeps it country with his new uptempo single.
Country music legend Alan Jackson gave Nashville a taste of his upcoming album Angels & Alcohol when he performed the new single "You Never Know," last Saturday at Bridgestone Arena.
Currently celebrating the 25th Anniversary of his illustrious career, Jackson is bringing all the hits to his Keepin' It Country tour while giving fans a preview of what to expect on the new album due out July 17th. By bringing along openers Brandy Clark and Jon Pardi, the multi-platinum selling Grammy winner shows that he still knows how to entertain, while keeping it traditional.
Loaded with fiddle and steel guitar, the uptempo song is reminiscent of other Alan Jackson favorites such as "Chatahoochie" or "Don't Rock the Jukebox," and is sure to be a change of pace from ballads like, "Where Were You When the World Stopped Turning" and "Remember When."
Angels & Alcohol is Jackson's first studio release of all new music in three years, and he wrote seven out of ten tracks on the project, including "You Never Know." Put on your dancing boots and take a listen.
