Brussels sprouts are a flavorful side dish that are dependably yummy, not to mention their high levels of vitamin C, vitamin A, calcium and potassium. Although Brussels sprouts get a bad rap, this healthy veggie is delectable when cooked right. They are best enjoyed when cooked to a tender crispiness and lightly flavored, and nothing accomplishes this as well as an air fryer. If you've never had air fried Brussels sprouts, they are the crunchy, flavorful dish that will elevate your meal to a new level of deliciousness.
Air Fried Brussels Sprouts
Brussels sprouts can be sautéed or baked, but once you've air fried them you'll never look back. Air frying Brussels sprouts involves using hot air to produce a crunchy exterior, making them crispy and snackable. Along with this, the cooking time to air fry is about half of what it would be in the oven, so air fryer Brussels sprouts are a perfect weeknight dinner. If you don't have an air fryer, they can be found on amazon or in any store with a home and kitchen section. Some instant pots can also be used as an air fryer.

Trim Brussels sprouts and cut in half through the stems, cutting the large ones into quarters.
Heat the air fryer to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
Place Brussels sprouts into the air fryer basket, add salt and drizzle on a little oil, about 1 tablespoon. Fry sprouts for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add in the garlic, and then fry until garlic is golden brown, another 2-4 minutes.
In a small saucepan, bring the balsamic vinegar to a simmer. Continue simmering another 2 to 3 minutes, until it has thickened to a syrup-like consistency, but don't allow it to burn. Remove from heat and whisk in the remaining oil, the lime juice and the soy sauce.
Transfer the Brussels sprouts to a plate and drizzle the balsamic vinegar on top. Add more lime juice or salt to taste. Enjoy your delicious, crispy Brussels sprouts!
