A video of an excited toddler as he encounters automatically doors for the first time has gone viral.
It was just another day for Abraham Vargas and his family as they visited their Dallas, Texas grocery store. That all changed when his 21-month-old son Azrael saw something he just couldn't comprehend.
"Took our son to the grocery store and let him walk around for the first time, he was blown away by the automatic doors," his father wrote on the video's caption. He screams and runs with joy as he tries to understand how the doors open and close by themselves. Little Azrael's reaction to the seemingly magical sliding doors has taken over the internet.
"I thought it was funny," Vargas told Today of his son's surprising reaction. "He's just learning to talk and he knows how to say some words. He shouted, 'Dang!' That's what you can hear him saying in the video."
The heartwarming video of Azrael has already gained over 1.5 million views in just a few days. Now, other videos of Azrael doing everything from preparing for an earthquake to his emotional reaction after hearing "Happy Birthday" are quickly gaining thousands of hits.
"I didn't know it was going to blow up like this," Vargas explained. "It's all kind of crazy."
