Adam Hood And Brent Cobb Release "Four On The Floor," A Chill Beat Between Buddies

Adam Hood and Brent Cobb have teamed up again for their new track, "Four On The Floor." Although it's released on Valentine's Day, this is ain't no sappy song. It's a chill and laid-back tune to sip something to.

The swampy single is sure to get you kickin' back and chilling with your friends, which is exactly what inspired the song. Sometimes, all you need is a little time with your buddies, and this song feels like the personification of that feeling.

No worries, no troubles, just you and your pals. It's one of those tracks that's hard to dislike.

Good, right?

Adam Hood and Brent Cobb threw some words our way about the song.

Describing the song, Adam Hood said, "Some songs tell stories, and some songs just make you feel good. 'Four On The Floor' is all about that free-flowing energy, with lyrics pulled from everyday conversations and set to a greasy, infectious groove."

That natural vibe and easy energy of the song shines through his words here.

Brent Cobb spoke of the production of the song. He said, "We wrote this one a few years ago with our buddy Jason Saenz, and it's been sittin' in the toolbox ever since. That's what makes it feel so timeless, though—'Four On The Floor' is pure Cobb and Hood, just like we like it. Good times never go outta style."

I do feel like the song exemplifies the timelessness of there being nothing but your mates and the stars. And maybe a few beers.

What I love most about "Four On The Floor" is the light chatter and laughing at the end, it really ties the piece together and compliments the image they've thrown alongside the tune. Although it's just a promotional shot, I can really imagine them kickin' back at night and singing this ditty.

I've had the song on repeat while writing up about it, and now I want to clock off and gather whoever's available and just chill out.
