Kaia Gerber has opened up about a part of her life she has previously refused to in the past. Per People, she revealed that as a child, she'd underwent an "exorcism".
She opened up about the circumstances behind what happened in an interview on The Mitch Churi Chat Show. She was talking about her appearance on American Horror Story when she recalled a strange detail.
"My mom gave me holy water to go to set with because she was like, 'I don't want you to get possessed," Gerber recalled. "I was told I was possessed as a child."
When she was asked to clarify what she meant, she doubled down. "I was just possessed. I was haunted, my whole life." She was then jokingly asked about whether she had an exorcism - but no one expected her to say, "I actually did!"
Of course, the hosts couldn't just let that one simmer. She then went into a little detail as to how and what happened. "Do you know how they did the exorcism?" she asked.
"They played a digeridoo all over me." That's right, the Australian wind instrument known for its iconic booming noise. "That's how they did the exorcism."
"That actually did happen," she mused. "I've never talked about it, but that actually did happen."

The Exorcism Wasn't the Only Strange Part of Her Childhood
The exorcism was apparently not the only thing that Gerber experienced as a child. Per People, she's previously opened up about her struggles with "disordered eating" growing up.
Given that her mom Cindy Crawford was known for her slim figure, she's always had issues being compared to her. "We're clearly in one of those cycles right now where people are very, very, very, thin. As someone who's been thin most of my life, I've always been compard against my mom - like, What's wrong with Kaia?" she explained.
She then opened up about how she wished she'd been "born with boobs and a butt. People have always commented on my body, which is hard because I'm not always ready to comment on my own body, you know?"
