Quinton Aaron has been hospitalized. The acting star who played Michael Oher in The Blind Side reportedly collapsed at his home, as reported by TMZ.

"A manager for the actor tells TMZ ... he's been hospitalized in Atlanta for the past three days," TMZ's report said. "We're told Quinton was walking up the stairs in his apartment last week when his legs suddenly stopped functioning, causing him to collapse. He was rushed to the hospital."
The same manager also told the entertainment outlet that the actor is on life support, fighting for his life. However, there is currently no indication of what has caused Aaron's sudden decline in health. His family is reportedly taking things day-by-day. They've asked for their privacy to be respected as they wait to see how Aaron responds to treatment.
Aaron has battled medical issues in recent times. He spent time receiving medical treatment in March of last year, following the development of a cough and fever. He also dealt with an upper respiratory infection in 2019.
Nevertheless, this does appear to be the most concerning of Aaron's recent medical issues. The actor has undergone a significant body change recently. Last year, he showcased his new-look body after dropping over 200lbs.
A GoFundMe Has Been Set up for Quinton Aaron
Following the news of his hospitalization, a GoFundMe has been set up for the actor. The message on the page claims that Aaron is fighting a severe blood infection.
"Quinton is currently hospitalized and on life support due to a severe blood infection. This has been sudden, frightening, and overwhelming for his loved ones," the statement on the GoFundMe page reads. "As he fights for his life, his family is facing an immense emotional and financial burden — medical expenses, living costs, and the uncertainty of how long this road to recovery may be."
The message continues to ask for help, noting that all proceeds will go towards helping his family and his medical needs.
"Every donation — no matter the size — will go directly toward supporting Quinton's medical needs and helping his family stay afloat during this incredibly difficult time. If you are unable to give, sharing this fundraiser is just as powerful."
The GoFundMe has currently raised $1,600. There is a $10,000 target.
Donations continue to pour in from concerned fans.
