Millions of tourists marvel at the Five-Color Pool located inside Jiuzhaigou Valley in Sichuan, China.
Often dubbed the "Eye of Jiuzhaigou," the Five-Color Pool is a vibrant, brightly colored lake in the Jiuzhaigou National Park.
The Five-Color Pool, which remains unfrozen year-round, is an awe-inspiring attraction that usually evokes quiet reflection.
Emphasis on usually.
Several visitors began brawling on the viewing platform in Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area, Sichuan, on November 2, leaving several tourists bloodied.
An elderly couple allegedly cut the line, which upset another couple who waited patiently. The two parties then began arguing. Before long, fists started to fly.
Video footage shows an elderly man wearing a blue jacket landing three vicious right hooks on a man wearing a purple jacket. Another clip shows the young couple nursing their wounds as bystanders gathered around. Both members of the injured couple appeared to be bleeding from their lips and faces.
Police took both parties to the station for investigation.
Officers said the two sides apologized and reached an agreement.
Couple Arrested After Feisty Brawl
The Jiuzhaigou National Park incident was not the only recent brawl involving a couple.
Kiarious Hall and his wife, Jazmine Hall were arrested in Texas last month for fighting game attendees at their 12-year-old daughter's softball game.
During the softball game, Kiarious Hall said attendees affiliated with the opposing team approached him and asked him to quiet down while their team was up to bat. Hall dismissed the request and continued cheering loudly throughout the game, which sparked an argument.
According to the arrest affidavit, Hall said that one man elbowed him and another poked him in the chest.
A video reviewed by investigators allegedly showed Hall striking a man in the face with a metal water bottle, knocking him to the ground unconscious.
He is also accused of striking a second man, a grandfather named Gary Greaser, who tried to break up the physical altercation.
"I said 'You can't do this.' I took him, I wanted to disarm the guy. Because he's going to do it to somebody else," Greaser said.
Witnesses claim that Jazmine Hall allegedly pushed Greaser, causing them to fall into the bushes.
Kiarious Hall and Jazmine Hall were arrested after the brawl. The married couple was booked at Fort Bend County Jail.
