'A Christmas Story’ House Staff Loses Wedding Ring While Packing Leg Lamps, Makes Plea To Fans

On December 12, the Facebook page for the House From A Christmas Story in Ohio made a desperate plea to fans.

Apparently, a worker was packing orders that fans had placed when he lost his ring,

the post said. It's not said for certain that he dropped his ring into any packages, but it's likely.

Fans who bought something are being urged to check their packages in case his ring slipped into any of them.

"If you've recently placed an order with us (12/6-12/9) through RedRiderLegLamps or Cleveland Street Novelties, please take a moment to check your package for his ring," the statement pleads.

The page said that the package would be initiated from "JK," which should hopefully whittle down the number of orders that need to be checked.

The page says, "If you happen to find it, please contact us at [email protected]. Your help would mean the world to him—and to us!"

Man Loses Wedding Ring While Packing Customer Orders

I can only imagine his partner's reaction when they find out his wedding ring could literally be anywhere.

I'm sure it'll be a Christmas miracle if someone manages to find his ring. It's been a week since the post was thrown up, and we've received no word about the ring. As orders have to be sent, however, it's likely that the order with the wedding ring is still in transit.

So hope still remains for the wedding ring to be found and called in. We all know how long posts can take to be delivered to and fro. I just hope nothing happens to the parcels as it gets shipped. If the parcel gets lost or misplaced, then he may never get his ring back, which would be a huge shame.

The comments of the post are full of supportive patrons, promising to check their parcels and sending their best wishes.

I hope it gets found soon, and that the receiver actually calls it in.
