Adam Driver is capping his stay in a galaxy far, far away at three Star Wars films and believes the "ship has sailed" on his role as Kylo Ren.

During an appearance on ESPN's Rich Eisen Show, Driver admitted he likely won't reprise his role in the Star Wars cinematic universe.
"Yeah, yeah, it's over," he said. "No more Star Wars. We tried. We tried to do one more, but they were like, no, he's dead."
Driver's Kylo Ren is a descendant of the iconic villain Darth Vader, who ultimately became Ben Solo before dying in Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker.
The Star Wars alum revealed that a Kylo Ren solo film was in the works but never released theatrically.
"We got a script together that was really good with Scott Burns and Rebecca Blunt," Driver told Eisen, adding that the proposed film had a working title, The Hunt for Ben Solo. "We all worked on it. It was awesome. It was really cool."
"They didn't see how Ben Solo was alive," he said. "And that was that."
Driver left the door open for a possible return but said the decision is not his to make.
"If they wanted to, fine, but it's not our call," the actor said. "I think the ship has sailed, though."
'Star Wars' Alum Joins 'X-Men' Ensemble Cast
Even without a Star Wars reprisal, Driver has a busy movie schedule ahead.
The 42-year-old actor was cast to play the iconic comic villain Mister Sinister in the X-Men reboot.
Driver said on the Nov. 5 episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live! that he grew up a fan of the "X-Men" animated and comic series.
"I was a big fan [of X-Men]. I mean, I was a fan of the other things too, but this one felt like the right time," Driver said, adding that he previously rejected other MCU roles offered by Kevin Feige.
"It was really 'X-Men,' Jake Schreier, who's the director, his idea for it, and that it's Kevin Feige. It all kind of came together. The script is really cool."
The MCU's "X-Men" reboot is scheduled to release May 5, 2028.
