Kid Rock took to social media this week to show off the elk he harvested, but he couldn't resist making it political.

Kid Rock Went "Off the Grid"
The "All Summer Long" singer took to social media yesterday, Nov. 5, to share that he went hunting. In the image he uploaded, he stretches his arms outward to hold up the antlers of the gigantic elk he harvested.
But instead of focusing on the prize, the caption turned political with a loaded question.
He wrote, "What happened? Was there an election or something? I have been off the grid..."
Users took to the comment section to share their thoughts on Kid Rock's post.
"Amazing beast ! Congrats," one fan wrote. "I guess you don't have to worry about beef prices this winter!!!"
Another user took the opportunity to mock the pic. "Must have been difficult to shoot a large animal in a open field," they wrote.
One fan told Kid Rock to keep hunting. "My advice...stay off the grid... very disappointed with the American people electing several socialist democrats," they said.
The Singer Recently Joked About Joining the WNBA
Last week, Kid Rock shared that he was going to become a professional basketball player.
In a video he uploaded on Monday, Oct. 26, he said he was joining NBA veteran Enes Kanter Freedom to join the 2027 WNBA Draft.
That video came after Freedom revealed his plans to pursue a spot in the draft back in August. He argued that the league's written eligibility language allowed him to do so after saying he identified as a woman.
"I cannot wait to enter the WNBA Draft in 2027 with my friend," Freedom said in the clip.
"Yep, me too. I'm a woman also, and I'm joining," Kid Rock added.
The caption matched the video's tongue-in-cheek tone.
"@KidRock has officially declared himself a woman and is joining me in the 2027 @WNBA Draft. Shaq and Kobe walked so we could run. From ROCK & ROLL to PICK & ROLL," it read.
