Simon Cowell appears to be on the mend. The music mogul and America's Got Talent judge recently underwent back surgery. As such, he was absent from the final weeks of season 21, including two live nights. Fortunately, it would appear that Cowell is doing well.

On Sunday, November 1, Laura Silverman, Cowell's wife, shared a handful of photographs of the family spending some time at the beach. In the photos, Cowell looks to be doing well and appears to be enjoying the quality time.
"Scenes from a dream. October half term edition." Silverman wrote in the caption. "Sometimes a photo just can't capture how a moment feels. The sea, the sunshine, nature, and being surrounded by the people and dogs I love most and having nowhere else I need to be. All I can really say is that my heart is full."
Silverman wrapped up her post on Instagram by sharing her gratitude.
"Feeling incredibly grateful, happy and at peace with life right now," the caption continued.
Cowell and Silverman have been together since 2013. The following year, they welcomed their son, Eric, in February 2014. Later, the couple got engaged on Christmas Eve, 2021, while vacationing in Barbados.
"They are both super happy," a source told PEOPLE at the time. "They've been together a long time now and adore each other so it's not a huge surprise to their close friends."
Fans Pleased To See Simon Cowell Is Doing Well
Following Silverman's Instagram post, fans began to share their happiness that Simon Cowell appears to be recovering well, and that the family appears to be happy together.

"Great Photo of you two wonderful Humans xx Get well soon Simon," another fan commented.
Another fan noted how Cowell's recovery from back surgery is acting as an inspiration for them.
"I just got home from back surgery and saw this and it's inspired me to focus on my recovery and hope to have this same feeling with my wife and kids in 2 months time."
Season 22 of America's Got Talent is scheduled to premiere in late May or early June 2027. Therefore, fans will undoubtedly hope that Cowell is able to be back in the judges' chair by then.
