Which American Idol Finalist Changed His Look?
Bo Bice shared his new look on Instagram on Thursday, Oct. 29, posting a comparison of his signature long hair with his shorter hairstyle. The 50-year-old American Idol runner-up contrasted the two looks side by side.
The caption read, "Well, well, Tinkerbell...Who's THAT guy?! Ain't it funny what two years'll do in your life. I haven't released new music since Born of Heroes Blood."
Bice added that his shoulder-length hair was "a blast from my past." He called his latest look "a glimpse into my future with a new life, new style, but the same southern soul." He also promised new music is on the way.
As PEOPLE reports, the first pic was a promotional shot of Bice taken around two years ago, when the American Idol finalist last released new music.
"I'm here to offer you a #BRANDNEWMAN! ... #TBT," he added in the caption.
What Else Has Bo Bice Been Up To?
It was over two decades ago when Bo Bice went against Carrie Underwood in the season 4 finale of American Idol.
From 2013 to 2018, he sang with Blood, Sweat & Tears, touring the U.S. and beyond. He also pursued acting and art, starring in a 2023 Florida production of Rock of Ages.
The singer wed Caroline Fisher in June 2005, weeks after Idol wrapped. The couple met when he managed a guitar store, and she waitressed at a café he loved. They share four kids.
But back in June, Bice announced on Instagram that he and Fisher were separating.
"We've spent 23 years together, had ups and downs," the caption read. "But it's become an impassable obstacle over the past year as we've both worked hard to keep our family and marriage intact... Neither of us is at fault; no exact circumstances are at play, just two people who grew apart and can't seem to find the path to understanding what is needed to make things work."
