A recent trend that's been floating round on social media is pranks. With the advent of Ray-Ban Meta glasses, that can record pretty inconspicuously, as well as smartphones in general, people are being recorded going about their daily lives more than ever.
And that, coupled with darn about near everyone wanting to go viral every day... you'd expect people will pull some stunts.
But it's safe to say that the vast majority aren't really a fan of this whole thing. Especially when they're on the other end of the camera. And one Red Baron worker, per the New York Post, certainly wasn't.
And he didn't hold back on the Instagram prankster. A now-viral video shows the hard worker, later identified as Michigan dad Walt Z, packing a freezer as the recorder approaches him - and asks for the time.
When he does, he plays a fake Apple Pay chime notification for the prank, and goads him on. "I just took $10," he announces, much to the man's dismay. "I just took your money".
"My life is hard enough as it is, okay? I don't need this crap," he responds. And he doesn't relent - even after being told it was "just a prank".
"I got kids at home that went to bed without me right now! I was supposed to be off an hour ago - I gotta wake up at 5 in the morning and do 10 more stores!" Walt shouts.

The Good Side of the Internet Helped Walt Out After the Viral Prank
Not a very nice prank, right? Well, that's what the better side of the Internet thought, too - so they set up a GoFundMe to help Walt Z out.
"This fundraiser is about standing up for a working person who is busting their butt and should not have to fear losing stability because someone wanted content and clicks," the fundraiser, created by Luke Oakenshield, read.
And, in a heartwarming conclusion to an otherwise frustrating story, Walt found out about the fundraiser - he was pleased. "Walt Z out of Michigan sends a heartfelt thank you," Oakenshield explained in an update. "[He] is absolutely blown away by how much people have cared over this."
"You're all Rockstars, and it shows."
