Ric Flair has been rushed to hospital. As reported by the New York Post, the incident happened hours after the legendary wrestler was forced to cancel an appearance due to other medical concerns.
The Hall of Famer was reportedly in a Tampa, Florida restaurant on Friday morning when an ambulance was called. He reportedly "suddenly fell and injured his face".
The full extent of his injuries are yet to be confirmed. However, TMZ reported that he cut his head and eye open before being taken to hospital via an ambulance.
This comes just hours after Ric Flair was forced to cancel his appearance at Washington State Horror Con in Seattle. He posted on social media that doctors advised him to limit travelling - meaning he couldn't attend the convention.
"Unfortunately, I Am Dealing With A Blood Clot In My Leg," he wrote. "My Doctors Have Limited My Travel To 3-4 Hours. Seattle Falls Outside That Range, And As Disappointed As I Am, I Have To Put My Health And Recovery First."
He continued by explaining, "Blood Clots Are Extremely Serious And Can Be Life-Threatening. We Have Seen This Recently With Jalen Hurts." he continued. (In case you weren't aware - the Eagles star has been forced to miss the rest of the season due to blood clot concerns.)
He finished the post by explaining, "It Is A Reminder That This Is Not Something To Take Lightly, And I Must Follow Medical Advice."
