At the Best Friends Animal Society's Benefit to Save Them All event on Oct. 19, hosted by The View's Sara Haines, she walked an orange carpet wearing a pantsuit that showed off her slim figure.
Trisha Yearwood Has Been Focusing on Her Health
The 62-year-old Yearwood also sported a new hairstyle, wearing a shoulder-length bob instead of her long, flowing blonde hair. She shared her new look on Instagram, along with photos of her with Haines and other stars.
"Celebrating our four-legged friends at the Best Friends Gala! Thank you for having us and for all the work you do @bestfriendsanimalsociety," the caption read.
Yearwood has been pretty open about her health over the years.
"I don't think you can name one diet I haven't done. I'm that girl who buys every magazine where somebody's lost 30 lbs," she told PEOPLE in 2013.
Yearwood Says To Cherish Who You Are
Earlier this year, Yearwood released the song "Country Music HerStory" from her album The Mirror. She wrote the song with Makayla Lynn and Leslie Satcher, and it celebrates iconic women in the genre, like Tanya Tucker and Dolly Parton.
When talking about the song, Yearwood offered this piece of advice to other women in the business: find your uniqueness and treasure it.
"I think the biggest advice I would have is to take from those artists what they have to teach you, if it's from learning how to hold a note to learning what kind of songs you want to sing yourself, but also realize that every artist, every woman, is unique," she said.
She then added, "Don't be afraid to be yourself, even if you've never seen anybody else doing it the way you're doing it...especially if you've never seen anybody do it the way you're doing it!"
