Slayyyter Cancels Two Tour Dates After Falling Ill

Slayyyter explained in her Instagram story on Wednesday that doctors had ordered her to give her voice a couple of days of rest. She was scheduled to perform in Copenhagen, Denmark, on Thursday (October 22) and Hamburg, Germany, on Friday (October 23). However, those shows have now been cancelled. She expressed her disappointment. But said that she didn't feel that she could "deliver a proper show" in her current state.

"Hey guys - I fully lost my voice, and doctors are recommending that I cancel Copenhagen and Hamburg shows to protect further damage," she wrote as caught by PEOPLE. "I'm devastated and wanted to play for you, but I just can't deliver a proper show."

Slayyyter also added:

"The tour will resume in Warsaw on the 24th after I have a chance to regain my voice. I'm so sorry and hope to make it up to you soon. I love you guys so much. Refunds will be available at the point of purchase."

Slayyyter is not the only pop star that has been forced to cancel shows because of doctor's orders. Charli XCX recently had to cancel her Glendale, Arizona tour stop on her Music, Fashion, Film Tour because she had been battling an illness.

"I am so, so sorry to say we have to cancel tomorrow's music, fashion, film show," Charli wrote on her Instagram Stories."I have been fighting sickness throughout this run of shows and have now completely lost my voice."

She also added: "I put absolutely everything I have into my performances, both physically and emotionally, and it breaks me that I can't be with you tomorrow."

Additionally, Lily Allen had to cancel her tour stop in New Zealand on October 20. Because she was also dealing with an illness.
