Carrot Top was greeted by a standing ovation from fans. "I feel like Jimmy Kimmel," he quipped as he took the stage by storm.

Carrot Top has made his emotional return to the stage following his suicide attempt. As reported by Entertainment Weekly, fans were glad to see him back.

In case you missed it, Carrot Top was recently hospitalized following a suicide attempt on September 18. We reported on it when it happened.

At the time, his representative wrote that "Mr. Thompson is recovering in the hospital and is receiving the care and support he needs." He also recently broke his silence on what happened that tragic night.

"I'm truly overwhelmed by the outpouring of love, support, prayers, and well wishes I've received over the past couple of weeks," he wrote. "Every message, text, and kind thought has meant more to me than you know."

"While I haven't been able to respond to everyone individually, please know that I've felt your love, and appreciate every one of you from the bottom of my heart. Thank you for being there for me during this time. It truly means the world to me!"

Carrot Top Has Come Back to the Stage

But now, Carrot Top has returned to the stage - to fanfare from scores of fans. At the time of the incident, he had embarked on a residency at the Luxor Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.

His return to the stage marked an official return to the residency for Carrot Top. He was greeted with a standing ovation by fans the moment he stepped on stage. In classic Carrot Top fashion, he was quick to quip about the whole thing.

"Thank you very much, thank you, thank you! I feel like Jimmy Kimmel!" he joked. "It's my first night back, we got a good show!"

And while his jokes about his absence kept coming, with him quipping "It took me so long to get my hair done," he did end up getting candid with fans for their sincere support.

"Thank you so much," he said. "God bless all my fans and my family, my mom, my brother, everybody here tonight."

And he even used his iconic prop humor in a pretty dark way. "It's been a rough month, trying to figure out what is appropriate for a night like tonight," he explained. He then proceeded to bring out a noose, quipping, "So I figured this would probably not be appropriate."

We're glad he's doing better!
