During his teary-eyed induction speech, McGraw reflected on his journey from a small town to the Country Music Hall of Fame.

"I grew up in Start, Louisiana. Not a lot of people there," he shared. "I spent a lot of years wondering where I really came from. Turns out I had two dads. The one who raised me was my stepdad, Horace Smith. Now, he would have never won any awards for how he treated my mother or us kids. And that house was a hard fire, but hard fire is how you make steel."

The "Something Like That" singer added that the only thing that could make him happier than his Hall of Fame induction is when his wife, famed singer Faith Hill, is potentially enshrined.

"The only thing that can beat this night is when you're standing here and I'm sitting there," McGraw told Hill.

Internet Pokes Fun at Tim McGraw

Unfortunately for McGraw, the internet is ruthless, and his emotional speech didn't spare him from jokes about his appearance.

More specifically, his noticeably dark, orange-toned appearance, which earned him the moniker "Tim McRib" online.

Some fans mocked his noticeably, suddenly dark skin tone and roasted the country star on social media.

Photoshop experts had a field day with his red carpet image shared by the Daily Mail, comparing him to gas station hot dogs and Willy Wonka's Oompa Loompas.

"Lol who is that Mexican man??" an X user commented.

"Bro looks like a microwaved hot dog," another joked.

"Señor Timoteo McGarcía. Real good man right there," an X user wrote, joking that he looks like a different person with the dark tan.

"More spray tan on him than the entire Kardashian klan," someone commented.

Even with his new look, fans were excited to see Tim McGraw enshrined in the Country Music Hall of Fame.

McGraw has produced 11 platinum or multi-platinum albums and 29 No. 1 hits on the Billboard country charts.

The iconic singer was inducted alongside Paul Overstreet and the Stanley Brothers.
