Four Men Caught on Camera Walking Into Home and Carrying Away Entire Refrigerator

When you hear about robberies, most of them involve pricey goods like art, jewelry, and of course, heaps of cash. However, a quartet of thieves allegedly decided to swipe an everyday item from an Atlanta home that we all take for granted - a refrigerator. Why in the world would anyone bother to steal something ordinary like that? That is a mystery, as is the whereabouts of the missing fridge. A motive for the alleged theft is a real head-scratcher worthy of a skilled sleuth.

This definitely is an extremely odd heist. Not only is a refrigerator unremarkable in itself. An unwieldy fridge is not exactly something you can hide under a bulky coat. Nevertheless, that inescapable fact did not deter the masterminds who allegedly claimed the large household appliance as their very own. According to Fox5 Atlanta, "The incident happened around 10:59 a.m. on Sept. 5 at a home in the 1500 block of Linda Way."

Details Are Either Not Known or Being Divulged

Adding to the mystique of this puzzling case are all the details that have not been made public. They may not even be known for certain at this time. For example, whether anything additional was taken, the approximate ages of the four alleged culprits, head-to-toe descriptions of what they look like, and also a description of the vehicle they were in.

However, one tantalizing tidbit surfaced in the outlet's account of the alleged crime. "Investigators confirmed that the appliance theft is connected to a broader, ongoing burglary investigation centered at the same Linda Way address."

Peculiar Items That Have Allegedly Been Swiped by Thieves

I guess anything is fair game when it comes to being up for grabs by stealthy intruders. Commenters on Reddit, some of whom are either bemused or angry, wrote about common items they owned that went missing because of alleged thefts.

Allegedly among them were a webcam, used cat litter, slippers, a digital dashboard clock, anti-acne facewash, prenatal vitamins, and a vacuum. There seems to be scant rhyme or reason for some of these supposed thefts. Perhaps it just depends on what someone wants and can't get by legit means.
