We all know that country shows can get a little wild. From the things that are expected, but still crazy, like artists calling out unruly fans, to more outlandish things, like... Satanic ritual allegations?
That's part of the wonder of country music as a genre. There's always something going on! But I'm not sure many fans were expecting this one...
Sturgill Simpson recently went on a strange vasectomy pep talk in front of scores of fans. As reported by Whiskey Riff, the wild incident happened during his October 15 Philadelphia show.
While it isn't 100% clear how exactly he got on to the topic, one woman was holding up a sign talking about a vasectomy with the (admittedly pretty hilarious) slogan based off of one of his songs, "Make America F*** Again".
And that's seemingly all it took. It looks like the country star is pretty darn passionate about vasectomies.

And he's studied it, too. "You know there's only ever been one study done post-vasectomy in Germany?" No, Sturgill, I didn't... but, enlighten us:
"They said for 87% of males that had the procedure done, everything gets better. It's like, if you have a garden hose with a little 'Y' feeding one line and you cut off one line and cauterize it, now it's all just shooting through one pipe."
He went on to say that vasectomies were a good thing for women, too. "We wouldn't have to worry about women's rights and abortions if more men got a vasectomy and took one for the team. You can reverse that s*** fellas... just saying."

And it looks like people were pretty happy about what he said. Comments on a video showing his pep talk agreed with him!
One commenter wrote, "Oh my lord, just when I thought he couldn't get sexier than he already was!", with another agreeing, saying "THIS is SEXY!"
One commenter even said that he was getting his vasectomy this week!
Whether you agree with him or not on this one, it's undeniably pretty cool to see the passion on this one!
