Luke Bryan's son has suffered a pretty gnarly injury during a football game. As reported by Taste of Country, it's unclear how long he'll be away from the field.
Bo Bryan, who is 18 years old, currently plays as a quarterback for the Battle Ground Academy Wildcats. He was playing a match against Pope John Paul II when he seemingly suffered an injury and needed to be taken off the field.
He also reportedly was seen with his arm in a sling on the sidelines later on in the game.
Following the injury, Bo took to social media to explain what exactly happened. In a post on his Instagram Stories, where he posted an image of himself in his football gear, he wrote, "Broke my collar bone last night".
He also thanked everyone who sent him "thoughts and prayers", adding, "We will be back."
While it's unclear exactly how long it will take for him to get back to top form, the Center For Ortho Surgery explains that "Full healing typically occurs within 8 to 12 weeks, with physical therapy recommended to restore strength and mobility."

Luke Bryan Supports His Son's Football Journey
One thing that is pretty clear throughout all this is that Bo will always have the support of his dad.
This season marks Bo's first as a starting quarterback. Whilst he'd shined in the football scene last year, he wasn't a starter - but that all changed this August.
After his first match, per Entertainment Now, Luke Bryan was right there on the sidelines. And that was before he was scheduled to perform that night in Charlotte.
Luke Bryan explained at the time, "I done yelled a couple times, so I may be a little scratchy up there tonight." In terms of him watching his son dominate from up in the stands, he said, "Oh, it's a dream come true. You know, me being a country singer, and then to have a son that's quarterback. You know, could've never imagined it."
Per Taste of Country, he also reportedly takes Friday nights off to watch his son play. How heartwarming is that!
