What's the biggest lump sum you've ever seen won on a game show?
Well, take that number and kick it pretty darn far... literally. At least, that's what one BYU student who dressed up as Spider-Man just did.
Cameras captured the wild moment he absolutely nailed a field goal in front of leagues of ecstatic students on ESPN's College GameDay. The show was there for its October 17 episode to showcase the Cougars' game against the Fighting Irish.

This is the Biggest Win in 'College GameDay' History
But while this is the single biggest win ever, this isn't the first time some students have won big. Last month was an especially tumultuous time for Pat McAfee (and Home Depot's) wallets.
That's because there were a crazy two wins of over $1 million on the ESPN show in just one month. Per Yahoo Sports, this isn't exactly unprecedented - as Home Depot recently pledged to match McAfee's donations, meaning these high-ticket wins are expected to be a little more common as the college football season goes on.
In any case, here are the two winners of the life-changing sums:
- Connor Kacena-Marrell for Week 2's Ohio-State Texas match won $1 million, with Matthew McConaughey and Kirk Herbstreit adding $200,000.
- James Whitehead for Week 3's LSU-Ole Miss won $1 million.
